Transfer students will need to submit full applications. When we recruit high school students, we often have years to prepare them and instruct them how to accumulate and gather the materials for the application. During the "portal" we have weeks at best, and many of the top prospects are gone in days. There is not really sufficient time to do for transfer students what we have always done for high school applicants.
