UCLA has dominated recruiting as of late, especially against us.
They now have Kendall Dudley, Cain, Amanda Muse, Kiki Rice, Lauren Betts - all Stanford recruiting targets
its sure helps recruiting when the head coach mentions the NIL for UCLA women's basketball is/or will be paying out $70K per player.
I'm afraid there is also a perception that UCLA is heading upwards and Stanford heading downwards.
Yes. UCLA has all the talent in the world the next few seasons. Will see what they can put together. We are historically a better program with a HOF coach, multiple Final 4s, and multiple National Championships. UCLA has none of those things as of now.
We are at a crucial juncture but I'm not giving up on Stanford WBB as many on this board seem to already have.
We will still be very competitive, especially with Brink (assuming she stays healthy and out of foul trouble).
I just wouldn't be making plans for another Final Four.
I agree, Stanford will still be very competitive next season, maybe Top 3 in PAC12 and Top 15 nationally.
