He is as low of a 3-star as it gets, by only one service, at the strongest position on the roster (OLB), at which we signed at least 1, possibly 2, more scholarship players in the same class (Tre Williams/Omar Staples).

I am strongly against "offering a schollie just because we have the room." The situation must make sense. This one does not.

I agree that no scholarship should be forthcoming. I wonder what impact Oregon's NIL program had here. I suspect everyone on Oregon's team, even walk-ons, has a minimum payment. That payment combined with in-state tuition probably makes fora compelling case for Oregon.
