As of course the top players want to play where they are highly seen, and so will favor schools and conferences with visibility.

If you are arguing the Stanford degree will lead to less transfer attrition, I don’t think the TV issue will matter for Stanford as much for similar reasons.

Guys who choose Stanford are going to be less impacted by things like TV exposure than any school in the conference Stanford plays. This is what will allow Stanford to be competitive if the coaching is on par with the top programs. 

NFL scouts will find players who aren’t on big TV platforms. Stanford football recruits play the long game. Stanford doesn’t appeal to short term operators.
