As several of you predicted, Casey Schmitt has come back to Earth after a terrific start.  Over the last 30 games he's batting .173 in 52 at bats with one walk for an OPS of 450.  He's walked once in his major league 119 at bats.  It certainly looks like pitchers have figured him out and are giving him out of the zone pitches to chase with very little he can square up and drive.

Time for him to adjust his approach - Do we think he can?

Yes. He has a history of hitting at all levels. But nobody can argue he must become more patient and selective.
