Such pessimism! Your post reminded me of the OF post above from the end of July. Let's look back at what's happened since July 29 against two very good clubs.

After today's pitching duel ended with a 1-0 Giants win, San Francisco is 5-2 and two series into that "brutal" run with 20 games left to play. Plus they play the sad-sack A's this weekend.
The As always play their hardest against their cross town rivals so the next two games could be harder than they appear but I'm still taking the over on OFs dismal 9 win prediction - Way, way over. Maybe 19-8? These guys are better than the sum of their parts. Believe in the chemistry.
