High level football is no longer consistent with Stanford’s values.
You e made the Covid point a couple of times and since I have liked many of your previous posts, I want to understand this point. Not to argue because that would get us into a political arena I fear. My own take is that the PAC 12 and especially Stanford overreaction to the pandemic hurt the program badly. Again, not to argue but is your point that Stanford did not clamp down on athletic activity enough during the pandemic? And further than this under reaction hurt the athletic program and or the School?
Not interested in arguing this point; I just want to see if I understand it.
BTW it is about a dime in a five dollar ante poker game in terms of over all cause of failure of the PAC 12 but I have always thought our knee jerk over reaction to Covid and the strident virtue signaling hurt our programs and our schools.
