My God this game of musical chairs just won’t stop. Hearing this morning that IF Calford doesn’t get the ACC invite then ESPN is now asking B12 to consider giving them a home (again).

I view that as positive.  It indicates ESPN sees some value in showing Stanford sports.

Earlier this spring, the Big 12 Conference and ESPN agreed to significantly expand their existing rights agreement, which runs through 2024-25. Under the expanded agreement, hundreds of additional Big 12 sports events annually will be distributed on the Big 12 Now on ESPN+ digital platform.


A month ago I saw Stanford joining the Big 12 as unimaginable.  Now, if no deal from ACC, the Big 12 reluctantly would be my first choice.    My last choice at the moment would be Stanford PAC cobbling together a few random outcast teams.
