I agree about the Padres, who are better than the Giants even though they somehow have a worse record.

Their last 24 games are fascinating:

Next 12: Phillies, at Astros, at Dodgers, at A's
Last 12: Rockies, Cardinals, at Giants, at White Sox

7-5 over next 12 and 10-2 over last 12, they could get the last WC spot. They are more talented than the Giants, D-Backs, Reds, and Marlins.

I'm betting the Reds eke out the 3rd WC spot. They have the easiest schedule remaining of all the teams within a game of it.
