whoever wins the PAC12 will most likely eventually automatically
get to host one of the NCAA regionals.
Perhaps, perhaps not. There are 20 matches remaining this season for Stanford and its P12 opponents (over 2/3 of the schedule) and a comparable number for teams in other conferences. Let's come back to this thought in about 2 months.
While it's always preferable to play at home, hosting a regional last year was not enough for Stanford to advance to the Final Four.
