I think we are being underestimated.  Brink and Jump alone make us a top 10 team.  And even though Jones was an amazing player, her struggles from the 3-point line made us much easier to defend.  I think our non-Jump 3-point shooting will go a long way in determining our success this year. If Demetre, Bosgana, and Lepolo become confident three point shooters who are hitting at a good clip and hunting for their shot we could surprise a lot of people and make it to the Final Four.

I agree that we really need more three point shooting to accompany Jump.  We will see who can step up.  

The biggest question for me is whether any of our incoming frosh can play defense from the start, or if they are going to take a while to develop.

Yes, more firepower, but in addition to 3-point shooting.  Someone who can create and score in different positions on the court.  I'm hoping Demetre returns to her freshman performance when she positioned herself inside the 3-point line and scored with beautiful mid-range jumpers. 3 reliable scoring threats is critical.  Defense is a must.  Can anyone remember the last season we consistently made the other team uncomfortable when they had the ball?

Yes, that turnaround mid-range jumper by DEMETRE is simply a thing of beauty, and her release point is pretty high.  I actually want her to take more of that, because she will be forced to play inside, with BRINK and IRIAFEN as Stanford's only proven post players. Positioning her at the high post with BRINK or IRIAFEN at the low post.
