The better he does, the less likely we can keep him.  Double edged sword.

Disagree. He had offers from all the big boys and turned them down to come to Stanford. (He's an outstanding student).
The way we lose him, IMO, is make him sit on the bench for a year. TT needs to find a way to get him on the field immediately.
