Per the article, the instructor was a TA, not a faculty member, and the instructor suspended, which is appropriate. Have to give due to admin for at least taking some action here. Hopefully the admin’s response to the TA’s misguided lesson plan helped shape those young minds as well.
This is not to absolve Stanford’s administration of any myopia in the Israel/Palestinian conflict, but I think there are worse examples.
