I tend not to love that argument. It can always get worse, and improvement is not assured. That said, the worst Stanford team in modern decades was 2006, which was Sagarin #104, and right now we are exactly Sagarin #104. In all likelihood we will improve going forward. But I do think it’s an open question how much. We’ll see, just glad we can have some hope of a better future, which I don’t think has really been the case for us for about a half decade.

The offense is pretty much bound to improve. Take the so-sad-so-close loss tonight. Top four receivers are underclassmen. QB's young. It's probably gonna be a good offense, just need to find a decent running game somewhere. The defense...I dunno.

When the game was over, I felt a bit for the team, they gave all of what they had to give and came all so close.  I had and have no idea what happened in any other game other than I know that the Toe Jams were tied with Cal at some ridiculous score of like 43 to 43.  Who won I have no clue and really don't care. Once, I cared a lot about how a lot of teams did, now I only care about Stanford's team.  The Pac 12 was destroyed by mismanagement and greedy schools.  As far as I am concerned, don't let the door hit you on *** as you leave.
