I don't understand the rationale and why it is tied to alcohol sales. Could it be for maximizing concessions? Or, do fans (students) leave to drink and come back inebriated?
UCLA: "There are no in-and-out privileges at the Rose Bowl Stadium. Once you exit the stadium you may no[sic] re-enter."
USC: "No stadium re-entry"
OSU: 2023 : "Oregon State University football fans will no longer be allowed to leave Reser Stadium at halftime and re-enter for the second half, ending a long-standing tradition at the school." "safety reasons"
WSU: "Re-entry is allowed only at WSU Football games, as long as you do not leave before the end of the first quarter, you receive a stamp and have your ticket with you."
I didn't find a reentry policy at the other PAC-12 schools, but I could easily have missed it.
Hmm... Stanford's policy only applies to reentry. I guess first-time entry during the 2nd half is allowed.
