I asked at the chalk talk about next year's schedule, and Coach Hambly provided some details about how it is shaping up:

20 ACC matches; one each vs. the other 17 schools; an extra match with the travel partner (Cal); and two more based on this season's RPI. (The conference will be divided into three tiers based on RPI). E.g., could be Louisville and Georgia Tech.
Five weekends back east. (If they are back-to-back weekends, may stay in the East.)

Non-conference may be a lot of road matches. Starting with Wisconsin and Minnesota. (Playing at home is expensive, since you pay to bring teams in, and it's not clear what the budget will allow.)

There were follow-up questions about recruiting, and Hambly seemed to indicate the conference change was not hurting Stanford (Stanford being Stanford).  I think he said he got five commitments during the period of turmoil (from collapse of Pac-12 to joining ACC).
