I've been skeptical of UCLA's high preseason ranking but Purdue didn't suffer any big blowouts like this last season (and even had a win over Ohio State). Also Purdue is not totally lacking in size and won their exhibition 106-45. But they were hit pretty hard by the transfer portal so I reserve judgment for now on how much to read into this first game. Certainly a good sign for UCLA nonetheless.
