Sam Hartman, who was supposed to lead them to success, basically failed in every "difficult" game. (Not my words, ND fan website words). He should be benched so they can give their other QBs experience for next year. Oh, and they don't like their coach either :-). Stanford's record is not impressive. Plenty of reason to not watch this game on TV.
But Notre Dame's appeal seems to have waned since both ABC/ESPN and Fox passed on carrying the game this year.

The only reason USC and UCLA is on ABC is Caleb Williams. Otherwise, what a dreadful game. Cal and Stanford will be more competitive, IMO.
The second largest market in the country is the reason SC/UCLA is always the preferred game (over any other western choices) on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Of course, on the same day, Michigan/Ohio State will probably be the highest rated game of the season….
The SC / UCLA game is this weekend. Next week, when Stanford plays Notre Dame, ESPN is showing Cal at UCLA at 7:30pm.
Yep. My comment should have been two paragraphs. One referencing the games this weekend (Stanford/Cal and SC/UCLA) and the other referencing the games the following weekend (Ohio St./Michigan and ND/Stanford)
