But, he needs to get on the phone and call around for O-Line.

He would have to make the same calls if he chose to go to UCLA. Their O line also wasn't good this year either. Depends a lot on whether staying in SoCal is a big deal for him. If he wants to "go away to school", we are in much better shape :-).

Presumably staying in SoCal isn't a brobdingnagian deal to him, or he would have chosen UCLA in the first place. He is reportedly an excellent student so academics probably had something to do with his decision. The QB UCLA did get was not particularly highly rated and did not have a particularly impressive offer list. However he is a runner as he was recruited by the service academies. So perhaps UCLA is happy with him.
