With the defection of Emanuel Ross, another 247 Composite 4* has left the class.  We now have only four of them remaining (and only two 4*'s according to 247's own rating.) 

The Average Rating of the class is 37th, while the Total Points (based on quantity and quality) is 31st.  

• Teams directly above us in Average Rating: Kansas, TCU, NC State, Minnesota
  
• Teams directly below us in Average Rating: Georgia Tech, Purdue, Rutgers, Pitt, Vandy (just dwell on that for a minute...)
  

I'd venture a guess that all of these teams will do as well or better than Stanford in the transfer portal, too. 

With the dearth of proven talent on our roster, we're going to need great coaching, luck, and a very strong ability ($$$) to retain diamonds in the rough when we find them (e.g., Elic Ayomanor). It wouldn't hurt if Elijah Brown turns out to be elite, either!
