Supposedly Big10 would take FSU, or SEC would take them to prevent Big 10 from doing so. These are from unnamed sources of course, which could just mean some FSU boosters.
I think their endgame is hope to get some sort of ruling that mitigates the very large leaving penalty to the point where it could be financially viable to jump. From what I can tell that seems pretty unlikely, so maybe this is just bluster to try and force more unequal revenue shares or something. Maybe they feel forced by their fans to do something after getting jumped in playoffs, even if it will amount to nothing.
