I’m at presently 87 scholarship players for the coming season

80 on scholarship to start plus 24 incoming Frosh (note 6 incoming are now
On campus)
6 undergrads transferring
2 out of eligibility
3 retired all 3 graduating
1 Karty declared for the draft
4 grad transfers
I believe Bank gone if so

I seem to recall that in the past (Shaw?) we had a few years where we didn't have the full 85 scholies filled.

What might happen if the count stays at 87?  Pull scholies from 2 5th or 6th year guys?  Are there other options?

The count only matters at the start of training camp (July/August), there is a second portal window in April after spring ball, grad transfers have no constraint on when they can enter, and medical retirements are still possible.

Are any medical retirements likely?
