They were all pretty good at ball handling and creating their own shots.

But you are correct that there is no one on the team now with a similar profile. Basically, I think we are talking about a women's team version of Kanaan Carlyle.

However I don't think that players like Hidalgo and Watkins would have been good fits at Stanford. Stanford is just not a place where guards typically are shooting 18-20 or more times a game as those 2 players are. I do agree that Rice could have been a nice complement to Brink and Iriafen.

I agree with this - we don't seem to have a guard or wing that can reliably create their own shot off the dribble and drive to the basket. All four of the players above could do that.

I don't think Tara would allow Watkins to take the ball as much as Lindsey Gottlieb does...the only Stanford player that comes close to having the ball that much was Haley Jones. 

And if I could have either Lauren Betts or Kiki Rice on the current Stanford team, I'd take Rice without a doubt.
