New Lauren Betts interview (by Haley Jones no less) now out where she touches (somewhat lightly) on her reason for transferring: Betts Interview. The key part starts at 24:10.  She says she had to do what was best for her and needed to go to a place where she would get "support".  (She also scoffs when Haley mentions talk about transfers being related to playing time.)  Her experience (and her perception thereof) are what they are, but I'm not sure why she continues to critique Tara and the Stanford program.  I don't recall other transfers harping on Stanford in this way (though the others didn't have Betts' high profile and weren't asked about it as much). Seeing all the misses Stanford has had on top prospects lately (zero McDonald All Americans this year), makes me worry about the impact these types of comments could be having on top recruits.
