I highly recommend it. The WVBall Banquet is our favorite Stanford event and we attend every year. The athletes are amazing people and the team is so close. It starts with each player introducing a teammate and sharing what makes them such a special member of the team. One by one we get to know each athlete as a special human being off the court,  hear funny and heart warming stories, and what they value and love about their teammates. Then Coach Hambly reads the moving, personal letter he wrote to each graduating senior in turn before he introduces each to address the banquet audience for the last time. Always tears.

As an example, Annabelle Smith is being considered for a Fulbright Scholarship before she goes to medical school and she plans to become a surgeon.
