And his record in March non-P12 or NIT tournament games is even worse, 3 wins and 11 losses.
In November and December Haase's teams are not too bad against very bad with a few losses despite a heavy dose of home games. Given most top programs avoid similar stumbles the computer rankings are not impressed. But at least early in the year Haase wins some of the time.
In February and March Haase's teams struggle for any wins against mediocre or good Pac-12 teams, but his rankings appear to stay in a similar range because rankings are often geared to reward quality losses, especially in neutral venues.
Impressing computer formulas with a number of quality losses is lovely, but when a team is 3-11 in pre-tournament late season games and 3-7 in Pac-12 tournament games, that is stumblin' and bumblin' down the stretch.
