As noted in so many posts above, Kiki had a monster game -- 41 pts, 16 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, 3 blocks, playing 41 of 45 minutes. After all the press enthusiasm on Friday night/Saturday over Crooks' 40 points vs Maryland, I wonder what we're going to read about Kiki tomorrow. It better be at least equal to what was written about Crooks. This is Kiki's second of immense proportions game this year -- the other, her 36 points vs OSU for Tara's record-breaking win.

Now onward, to Portland!

I doubt that will happen for the simple fact that it was Crooks debut game in the NCAA Tournament. Iriafen will definitely get some press, but I don't think nearly the same amount.

Also props to Agara. She was key in slowing down Ryan. Without Agara on her, she could have easily joined Iriafen in the 40-point club tonight.... or led them to victory in regulation. I thought that was a key adjustment by VanDerveer.
