For a while I helped call all the new admits to congratulate them and answer any questions they had about Stanford.

Kate Paye was one of my calls.  I had no idea who she was...she was just another name on my list.

Kate said thanks but her older brother had already answered all her questions.

I said, "Oh, does your older brother go to Stanford?  What year is he?"

I recall that she was very sweet and patient with me.

What a great story and that you remember that from all the calls you made. She probably remembers your call too. Thanks for sharing.
