Wiseman was a tough choice. He finished 37th in VORP (Value Over Replacement Player).
Trayce Jackson-Davis and Brandin Podziemski finished 2nd and 4th in VORP this year after being the 57th and 19th selections. Podz had the highest rookie +/- by a mile (264 vs. Dereck Lively at 144) and TJD was 8th at +32. TJD would have been even higher if Kerr had played him those first two months, I suspect.
Dunleavy and the coaching staff did a great job with their two rookies. Hopefully his luck continues and the W's get one of the four lottery picks. They have a 3.4% chance, with a 0.7% chance for the top selection. The next 10 picks go in season record order, worst to best. If the W's don't get one of the top four selections, the pick reverts to Portland. The Warriors also have Milwaukee's 2nd round pick, #52 overall. Golden State's second round pick, #44 overall, belongs to Houston.
