The Warriors didn’t have a chance at Edwards since they picked second. Nevertheless, the Warriors could have selected LaMelo Ball. There’s been plenty of ink spilled on that decision. The Warriors also missed out on Halliburton and Maxey, but so did a bunch of other teams. I’m not sure that many teams would have taken Wiseman over LaMelo though…

Right. I was just thinking of all the early conversation leading up to the draft. I think by decision day most thought Edwards was the best pick.

Didn't Melo come with a bunch of baggage, namely his dad? The W's probably could have handled that, but why bother. . . .
