I have bet money on the conference reforming in less than 20 years.

With or without the SoCal traitors?

With.  Uncle Sam uses legislation that forces them against their will back to Pac and requires all conferences to be regional again as well as capping all conferences at no more than 10 teams which subsequently resurrects the Big 8 and SWC conferences.

Agree 100%, I feel that catalyst for regional conferences will be the players.  Just too much travel and time away from classes and campus, players have started expressing their concerns on these two issues. Anyone who has had to travel for business purposes on a routine basis knows what a royal pain this can be.  Add also the quality of play will suffer.
