I didn't see this posted anywhere. A little more context of Tara's retirement. She plans to still keep an office at Stanford, will attend games, will still be available for lunch with players.
"Just the way things are right now in women's basketball, I just knew that I didn't have the right energy for what the job is going to take."
She's planning to write two books. She's been dealing with a hip issue and will have hip surgery in the fall.
