I don’t know if it will come to pass, but Sasaki has been quoted saying he wants to go pro (if he can) but come back to finish his degree and is interested in learning about becoming an entrepreneur. He seems to get the “40yr decision.”

I don't think this is good news re Sasaki, if true.

Wait, did he mean he's trying to go pro NOW? I took it to mean AFTER he's here for a couple of years.

Now that he is a US resident attending a 4-year college, the earliest Sasaki can declare for the MLB draft is 2026, after he turns 21. Us getting him for 2 years was always his plan A.
