Rounding out the Stanford recruiting class of 2024, Kyle Smith, the Anne and Tony Joseph Director of Men’s Basketball, has announced the signing of Anthony Batson, Jr. (Scottsdale, Ariz.).

“Anthony is a welcomed addition to our program, he has always had a strong desire from an early age to be at Stanford,” said Smith. “He has earned this opportunity and we could not be more pleased.”

Batson joins the Cardinal as a 6-3 guard from Notre Dame Preparatory School in Scottsdale, Arizona. A consensus three-star player from On3 and 247 Sports, Batson finished his senior campaign with averages of 22.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game while shooting 62 percent from the floor and 45 percent from beyond the 3-point arc. He was a first team all-state honoree and the region Player of the Year.
