Why would she wear a Stanford cap? She is not a student anymore. People need a life tbh and not let what swimming cap someone wears rankle them. SMH

I would not expect her to wear a Stanford cap.  I also would not expect her to wear a Florida Gators cap.  If she trains with the Gator Swim Club then she should wear a cap that says Gator Swim Club.

Um, she's not training with the Gator Swim Club in Gainesville. She is training with Anthony Nesty, the head coach of the men's and women's programs at the University of Florida, and for the most part, training with men. While it sucks seeing her not sporting a Stanford cap, Ledecky trains with, and coaches for, the Florida Gators. Why on earth shouldn't Katie wear a Gators cap? Good grief.

Because she is not a Florida Gator.  She's a VOLUNTEER swim coach there.

Well, clearly she identifies as a Florida Gator. Do you want to tell her that being a mere volunteer coach doesn't make her one in your eyes?

Frankly, I'm a little disappointed in with those in the Stanford community who have their panties in a wad over this. Katie has made the Stanford community proud for so long, and for most of us, still does. Thanks Katie!
