Now the roster is not good enough to contend for a playoff spot, but the team is still over the cap.  
How long before Steph asks to leave so he can take one more shot at contending?
The good news:  If GSW were to trade Curry for expiring contracts plus a couple of first rounders, the rebuilding process might go smoothly.
There's already pretty decent youth movement and the team has all its own first round picks.
The 2025 pick easily could be top 10 in a draft that's a lot better than the one that just passed.
Plus, if Curry were to leave, Green's contract would be the only really overpriced one after this year.
Wiggins' contract is risky, but it would be fine or good if the high effort version of the player were to show up again.
