Isn't the discussion of Canady coming back to Stanford after Texas Tech and NIL to get her Stanford degree sort of moot? If she spends two year at Texas Tech in addition to her two years already at Stanford, won't she (probably) have enough units to graduate from Texas Tech? 
Unless, if she is, say, one required course short of her degree and wants to come back to Stanford to take that course? Would Stanford have any rules against that?

guessing here, but she could in theory bring back 90 credits (at least you used to be able to have up to 90 credits from elsewhere).  I would assume whatever degree she was completing she'd have to get that department to agree that she had fulfilled all of their requirements in terms of coursework which may or may not be difficult to do.
