FWIW, here is a quote from a Volleyballmag.com discussion on the best players in the country:
"If we were having a player draft and I had the No. 1 pick, I’d take Stanford senior Kami Miner..."

I'm a fan of Miner, and think she's as good a setter as any in the country.  But, would you really take her as the first player in a draft?  I would probably build my team around a pin hitter who can make something out of an out-of-system play (a la Kathryn Plummer).

I think Miner is great but Madisen Skinner is a three time national champion and the primary reason Texas won last year.  She probably is everyone’s number one pick.
