Stanford at UC Santa Barbara today at 7:00pm PT on ESPN+.   UCSB's 2-4 record is deceptive.  Three of the four losses were against ranked team.  Also they beat USF.   It should be a competitive match. 

Hambly has plenty of non-conference scheduling options.  There is always a reason he schedules teams.  I have no idea why he chose UCSB.   Anyone know?

Speculation - looking for a competitive match on the way to Malibu where Stanford plays defending WCC champ Pepperdine tomorrow. Also UCSB won the Big West last year.

A road trip to SoCal gives the families of SoCal players a chance to watch their daughters play without a 6-8 hour drive. Can't count on road matches at USC and UCLA any more.
