Clemson closed its main campus on Thursday at 7 p.m. and it will remain closed on Friday with all scheduled classes canceled. The school announced in a release Thursday that its main campus and Upstate locations are expected to receive 8 to 10 inches of rain and wind gusts of 50-60 mph because of the hurricane.
Despite this and South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster declaring a state of emergency on Wednesday, Stanford-Clemson's matchup has not changed.
"The kickoff time for Saturday's football game against Stanford remains scheduled for 7 p.m.," according to the university.
