Technically TT is not a "covered entity" under HIPAA (https://www.cms.gov/priorities/key-initi...d-entities), but I do think that we ought to respect players' right to privacy about their injuries as a matter of course, and the health information of a student (they are still considered students, right?) may be covered by FERPA (https://campusguard.com/post/hipaa-vs-fe...20patients.).  Regardless, our curiosity doesn't strike me as compelling enough to get bent out of shape about a coach who plays it close to the vest, whether officially restricted or not.
