Syracuse beat ranked UNLV last night in OT. They’ve beaten 2 ranked teams so far, are 4-1, with only loss to us. Is the Cardinal better than getting credit for??

Our defense is pretty darn good.  But, we are too inconsistent on offense to get much respect out there.  We simply need better QB play.

Run defense is good
Pass defense is bad outside of Collin Wright and occasional pass rush
OL pass blocking is starting to be good (the way bigger problem is who they're blocking for)
OL run blocking isn't great (but they are young, and all of a sudden we have some horses in the backfield too - future looks promising)
Special teams are solid in pretty much every phase

The above is a very legit improvement from last year's team, which - outside of Karty - was bad at almost everything.
