I do very much want to see what Brown brings to the table. As I understand it we had a "new" center and a new guard playing today. The pass blocking deteriorated supposedly as a result. I am not sure we can tell much about Brown with the quality of pass blocking we had against ND. Wake Forest will presumably have a much weaker pass rush, but if Brown has very anemic pass blocking he may not be able to "do his thing". OTOH if that is all we can provide, maybe better for him to learn to deal with it ASAP. Of course, the underlying risk is that he decides that next year it will not be much better and remaining at Stanford will not be a viable option for him. No way around that risk I'm afraid.
