Jeopardy style - what is the question……

Prior to today, the last time this happened in college football - October 3, 1960.

When was the last time all but three higher ranked teams all won?

Since October 3, 1960 was a Monday, and new rankings came out on Monday, I would guess it had something to do with the rankings. I'm going to guess:

1) it's the first time since then that a team (Oregon) beat the #2 overall team but didn't get a #1 ranking or
2) Vandy having the brobdingnagian upset of a Top 10 team ('bama) and didn't get ranked in the Top 25 or
3) Seven Top 25 teams were upset.
