Some questions I have from my layman’s POV:
(I realize all of them could possibly be answered by “all of the above.”
1. What is going on with Ayomanor? Is it that other teams have figured out how to cover him, and that our QBs lack the accuracy to get the ball thru a smaller window? Is it part of a larger problem that our O doesn’t provide the right routes against varying coverage?
2. Why do I get the feeling I’m watching a high school offense? Where are the quick routes over the middle that TCU and others constantly exploited with us? Is it lack of talent/depth at TE?
3. All those TFLs seem to be on wide or option plays. Yet Davis and Jones seem reasonably effective running inside on counters. Is there a lesson here? What is causing those wide plays to get busted up so early?
