Well, the stats are interesting, but I'm thinking of the "here we go again" impact on the players. Early in the game, we are ahead, e.g., and feeling enthused. Then, we give ND the ball around midfield when a well placed punt should have landed them at the 10 at least. We would have even more positive energy. In my earlier days, that mattered.
