The AP poll came out today and we are not ranked in the pre-season poll for the first time since 1999

From ESPN article:
"Looking for Iowa or Stanford? Neither was in the preseason Top 25. With Caitlin Clark and Lisa Bluder no longer with the Hawkeyes, and Tara VanDerveer and Cameron Brink gone from the Cardinal, those programs have just lost too much."

Hope Coach P and team quickly answer that comment.

BRINK moving on to the WNBA was expected. I think Stanford's biggest loss was IRIAFEN 
not coming back for her senior year. 

Had she not transferred, I bet Stanford will still be pre-season Top 25, even pre-season Top 15.
Her lofty 19.5 ppg and 11.0 rpg are just too much to compensate for.

Hmmm, their current line-up is really 
THE Who's Who from the HS Class of 2022:

# 1 BETTS, 
#2 RICE, 
#3 BARKER, 
#6 GARDNER (who I feel is better than both #4 PATTERSON and #5 BRADY)

then you also have: 

#19 JAQUEZ and
#22 Londynn JONES

That's 6 McD AAs just from one Class.

Then you add Serbian Olympian DUGALIC and 
Class of 2024 McD AAs DUDLEY and ZOCKA-NGUEMEN

(and not even including WSU legend Charlisse LEDGER-WALKER
because she might redshirt as a Grad student this season
due to injury)
