I was concerned that we might not even make the tournament this year after losing our two best players and the way we collapsed in the second half of our loss to NC State. With the transfer additions, I believe we have a better chance of making the NCAAs, but for the first time since I've been a fan, I feel like our tournament berth is not a guarantee.

Athletic mobile guards are still an Achilles' heel for us and at least with Brink and Iriafen, we can counter with one of the best frontcourts in college wbb. We no longer have that luxury.

I would feel a whole lot better if Ogden can make a Kiki-like jump in her skill level and our transfers/freshmen can make an immediate impact. Right now, there is no clear cut successor to take over as the top go-to scorer in our lineup.

Kate Paye will have done an amazing job in her first year if we are better than a #8 seed in the NCAA tournament and gets us to the Sweet 16, IMHO.
