This Wednesday-Sunday games trip is causing the team to miss a lot of school. So much for scheduling to try to minimize travel and time away from school. I wonder if TV had anything to do with it . . .

The TV announcers suggested the team does not find it worth flying back to Stanford before next week's games.

Interesting; I was going to ask about that.  It's one thing if both matches had been all the way on the East Coast, but since the distance between Dallas and Pittsburgh is 1100 miles (versus 1500 miles between Dallas and SFO), I wondered if being able to get back and sleep a couple nights in their own beds (not to mention not missing Friday classes) would be worth the extra flight.
