I picked against Stanford. I'll still be at the game proving that as with second marriages, Hope, however faint, triumphs over Experience.
I now think of Stanford victories in the same way I thought of Santa Claus. 6 days of the week I scoff but Game Day is like Christmas Eve, on that day I believe.
